Lake under Petrov - architectural and urban development of a space at the corner of streets "Biskupská" and "Petrov" (in a relation to the underground of Brno)

Solution idea Petrov is stoney bill in south-west part of Brno. You can find magnificent cellar on given land that is probably medieval and is partially carved in rock. Designed building follows up this rock developing to surface, where crystalizes and gradually grows and expands towards from „Šilingrovo náměstí“ to St. Petr and Pavel’s cathedral. Water is the other element – it wells from mouldering diabas rock to surface, thanks to cracked springs that can be found here. That creates a lake beneath Petrov. Water theme is projected to building interiors. This construction is characterised by great views, which are possible because of unique location of the site and the building itself is designed to use the most of them. From terrace, caffeteria and also multipurpose hall can anyone view cathedral, Zelný trh square and Parnas fountain. Function locations 1) Interest-activities more people more life. There used to be one of the oldest schools in Brno from half of 14th century. And because of that, although in modified form, I wanted to preserve this function of the place. I designed one classroom and a multipurpose hall, that can be used e.g. for dance lessons or - in a daytime, when there be no usage for the hall - for rentals for commercial purposes. 2) The entrance to medieval cellar carved into rock, that is under the site. There are two functional water wells, that constantly floods the cellar space. Water will be pumped out to terrace, where it will make a small lake. The whole space will function as a small gallery. 3) Caffeteria and sweetshop are located on very attractive place with spectacular views. Adjoining terrace will serve as summer garden that can be used by public all year round.

Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)

After successfully avoiding of the destructive scenario with the demolition of reservoirs and replacing them with parking house, the second question arises. How to stimulate the people's interest in these underground jewels, the interest that would confirm the decision to save reservoirs. One of the possible ways, in which I see a purpose and the one that I decided to chose is to make the reservoirs accessible alongside the pathway and let the natural curiosity of human to do the rest.

Apartment house with law office in Nové Mesto nad Váhom

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a multi-purpose building, which will be used mainly for long-term housing. In order to create a space for use in administrative work in the area, the building also considers the area for this activity. For this purpose, the land was perfectly suited to the function of the future building on the fringe of the town Nové Mesto nad Váhom. The land is flat, located in a built-up area with family and apartment houses, on the corner of streets named Bzinská and Odnrej Plachý. The place in the nineties served as a public city swimming pool for recreation and sport. The land has been unused since the end of this activity. Therefore, the intention of the building would not only be enriched by the housing stock of the city, but also the value of the dilapidating land would increase. The building is designed as a detached storey house with one underground and four above-ground floors. It is divided into a residential part and an administrative part with separate entrances. The building is covered with a flat single-skin roof with attic around the perimeter. All entrances to the building are designed as barrier-free. The residential area on the ground floor contains a housing unit and its facilities and equipment designed for three people with limited mobility and orientation. Other higher floors have two apartments for four people. The apartment part includes a basement, where each apartment is assigned a cellar. Furthermore, in the basement there are common areas for residents such as a workshop, a store of common garden furniture and tools, a gym with sanitary facilities and a common room with a toilet. There is an elevator machine room, a boiler room and a cleaning room with the facilities of the operators in which only authorized persons will have access to the facility. Multifunctional building

The final thesis designs an apartment building with terraces, bikeshop and underground garage. The building is situated in the city of Hradec Králové. Building has four floors and one underground floor. The main root area is designed as extensive green roof. The supporting system consists of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame with masonry of brick blocks. The whole building will be insulated by external thermal insulation composite system of mineral fibers. The building design meets the requirements for almost zero energy consumption houses.

This thesis is processing design of new building of detached house situated at Zlín - Kudlov. It is single-storey building with one residental unit for 4 persons. The building is designed of individual sandwich system and it's roof design is that of flat with growing layer. Project documentation is elaborated in accordance with currently valid laws, regulations and standards.

The Map of Brno

„Hic sunt leones“ is a printed publication that represents the outcome of diploma thesis Map of Brno. It is a pocket-size map in a form of a book describing the dark side of Brno, fitting contextually within the scope of urban exploration. Locations described within the publication are far beyond the general interest of the majority, and even the alternative minority, of population within the city. These are locations whose visit may result not just in dirty pants or possible conflict with the police, but also in injuries or even death. The inaccessibility of these places is emphasized by the inaccessibility of the map itself, which is being tested at it's very edge of usability. Accurate cartographic mapping is not the intention of this project, neither it is the process of making these places easily accessible. Mediation of their unique atmosphere and providing the evidence of their mere existence is the primary intention here. More so because of the fact that such places are subjects to very fast perdition.

Reinforced concrete structure for grain hopper

The subject of this bachaleor‘s thesis is a design and structural assessment of reinforced concrete structure for grain hopper. The structure is located for most part in the ground and is supported by one wall against the underground wall of the mill. Walls are connected by a hole for the pipe, which is using for transport grain to the mill. Designing are walls and bottom of the structure. Calculation of load effect was made in SCIA Engineer 18.1, where is made a subsoil using module Soilin. For check the calculation is make by hand calculation on calculation model of one wall.

Inner Space II (Mind in a Cave)

For my bachelor thesis became the basis archetipic area of the caves. The cradle and the grave, the first canvas, spiritual and cultural catalysator of the genus homo sapiens. Questions journey into the inner (lower) world of darkness. For my work Inner space II. I choose a small natural caves. The aim of their search and work with them is the authentication concepts and ideas related to the landscape and natural objects such as theme, which seemed to me difficult to grasp. In my work I want to connect two kinds of experiences of my life, wildlife and life in an urban environment. Contact thinking pertaining to the subject of art and thinking independent on the categories and topics of art.

Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)

The Tourist Information Centre of Brno is currently searching for ideas on how to utilise and create access to out-of-use historical reservoirs located almost at the top of The Yellow Hill, in the area covered in wild vegetation hemmed in by Tomešova and Tvrdého street. The goal of the first phase of the project was to create a concept of utilisation of the area and the objects within. The second phase of Master Thesis concentrates on describing a specific idea of processes taking place in this area and a detailed design of its selected parts.
